*busy busy boys*

Cameron turned 1 a couple of weeks ago and his mom wanted me to document him at this age!  Well that was no small task!  Man oh man is he a active little fellow.  He had me running and chasing him all over!  He did not think I was funny at all.  He was not giving me very many smiles! But in the end I think we were able to get some really good images! And I had a blast!

happy happy happy

I had the privilege of photographing some very special kids this week.  These children are here from Haiti for a few weeks visiting some people who have previously traveled to Haiti to share the love of Christ with them!  They are getting to go to Disney next week! How awesome is that?!?! I wish I was going!!

Adaleigh Grace

I had the honor to be asked to be at the hospital with a very sweet family while they waited to welcome their newest baby into the family! Adaleigh was born by a planned c-section last Friday morning. I got to sit with the grandparents and siblings in the waiting room.  Oh they were so excited to meet her. What a privilege it was for me to be there!

I can't believe summer is over {last family vacay}

We ended our summer with quite a trip!  We drove all the way up the east coast!  Holy cow we drove from AL to DC over the coarse of a little over a week! The goal at the end of the week was to make it to a family wedding.

We stopped in Asheville, NC for dinner one night.  I would defiantly recommend this restaurant it was delicious!

  Part of our trip was spent at the Homestead in VA.  Oh my word this place is nice.  Our time here was spent drinking afternoon tea on the porch, drinking virgin strawberry daiquiris by the pool, and playing croquet on the lawn. It was fabulous.

  After another long drive we made it to DC and found our hotel,
located right down the street from the capital. Now time to head to the Nationals game
and meet up with our cousins!

 The next night in DC was the rehearsal dinner.  It was at a super cool restaurant located
in something that looked like a old warehouse.  Anyways super cool.
The next morning was spent getting ready to head over the wedding!! But of coarse
we had to take a few pre-wedding photos with our cousins.

The wedding reception was located at a rooftop steak house in downtown DC that looked right over the capital! The appetizers and dinner were delicious!! Holy cow
that tuna tartare was amazing!! It kinda blew my mind.
