It's SUMMER!!!

Holy Moly I have been so busy!  Finishing up exams, doing a whole lot of orders, and all of my sisters graduation activites! It has all been fun things (except for exams), just so many things!  I have been trying to finish up all my orders because we are leaving for Disney on Wednesday! OMG I am so excited.  It's the happiest place on earth how could I not be excited??!?!?  Anyways here are a few of the things I have recently finished.

This was a simple bathing suit that I added a monogram too! I think its so cute.
Then I did two appliques for Cate also.

My I made my grandmother a pocket shirt and all of her friends
wanted one once they saw hers.  So these are for her friends.

And since we are going to Disney with our cousins, 2 and 4, I just
had to make them some shirts before we left for Disney.

So there are a few of the things I have most recently done!

Almost Summer!!

We spent the weekend at the lake, celebrating Mother's Day with our family.  It was so fun and only makes me want summer more.  Being at the lake is so relaxing and really refreshing!  My younger sister had a birthday party to attend Friday night, so we drove up after her party Friday night.  We spend the whole day Saturday painting chairs, cleaning chairs, and just getting the lake house ready for summer.

(all these are iphone pics)

And relaxing!

Ahhh sitting on the dock, playing a board game, just hanging out.  Oh so relaxing!
Then Saturday night we got to go to a new restaurant on lake, Kowaliga Restaurant.

Sunday we had to pack up and head home.  I had some pocket tshirts I really needed to finished for my Aunt.  So as soon as I got home I got started on the shirts.  I happen to love these 3 shirts.  I think the turned out great!

Mickey and Minnie Shirts

We went to Dothan last weekend for my dad's high school reunion.  We also got to go to the church that my great Uncle Mike started which happens to be the church that some of our family friends, Lauren and Rob Webster not only attend, but Rob is the worship leader at Covenant.  Right before the service started, we stood in the Atrium and chatted with Lauren.  It was so fun!  She told us about their recent trip to Disney, in which she tells us about the shirts.  The Mickey and Minnie shirts she had gotten made for her children.  Lauren had gotten a lady in Montgomery to make appliquéd Mickey and Minnie shirts, but they were awful.  She was so funny! She said they were poorly made, cost a fortune, and just didn't look good. I knew right then I had to make her some shirts.

Here are the shirts I made for her!

She absolutely LOVED them!  I'm so glad!

Youth Missions BBQ!

I cant believe its already the first weekend in May! Oh My Goodness time is flying! Every year, the first weekend in May, the youth group at my church puts on a BBQ.  The BBQ is a fundraiser for missions and missions trips. They said this morning that this was the 23rd year we have done it!  Its an amazing production, from start to finish, runs like a well oiled machine. It is so cool to see how the Lord uses something as simple as a BBQ to further his kingdom.

Meredith and Annie at the BBQ.

"the line" The production line is an assembly
line where we make the BBQ plates.

Lauren working hard on the line plating coleslaw.
 Meredith on the line.
This picture cracks me up!!  The BIG people in charge must be having a deep conversation.  They have the exact pose going on. Ha! Thats pretty funny.

I had a few pocket tshirt orders that I need to finish, so I decided to try out my new fabric on them and I think they turned out cute!
